LifeWise Academy is an organization that helps communities bring Bible education classes to their local public schools, DURING SCHOOL HOURS. This program has been legally upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court for offering released time religious instruction. Their mission is to offer public school students, regardless of their religious background, the opportunity to learn about the Bible, recognizing its foundational role in shaping society. Founded in 2018 as a division of Stand For Truth, LifeWise has grown to serve numerous school districts, differentiating itself by operating during the school day to engage students who might not participate in before or after-school programs. Their structured model makes it easier for communities to establish and maintain effective programs through local community support.

Ripe For Revival is a nonprofit food development company, that is dedicated to "reviving communities through food." They accomplish this by repurposing retired city or school buses into Mobile Markets. These Mobile Markets drive into communities affected with food hunger, offering fresh, locally sourced, and affordable produce, proteins, dairy, eggs, and other food products to all residents, regardless of their budget. Shoppers have the option to PAY WHAT YOU CAN, fostering dignity and community support. Through partnerships with local farmers and food producers, Ripe For Revival aims to make fresh, affordable food accessible to communities across the United States.

The Immanuel House for men and the House of Promise for women are Addiction Recovery Ministries led by a local area pastor. Our commitment to this cause extends beyond financial contributions, as we have also taken steps to directly impact the lives of individuals seeking recovery. To date, we have hired a total of four dedicated employees from the ministry, reflecting our commitment to offering opportunities for individuals on their journey to rehabilitation and reintegration into the workforce. One of these employees continues to be valuable member of our team, highlighting the profound and lasting impact of our partnership with the Addiction Recovery Ministry. This partnership helps facilitate a positive difference in our community by providing both financial backing and meaningful employment opportunities to those in need. Others have gone on to have successful careers in the community.

These toys are then distributed to children who might otherwise go without during the holiday season, spreading joy and hope to families in need. W.R. Long proudly supports Team 8758, the Tar-Robo Turtles, in their mission to foster enthusiasm for STEM within the community, prepare scholars for their ideal futures, and establish a safe environment for exploring passions. By spreading a love for STEM throughout Edgecombe County, the team is dedicated to introducing students of all ages and schools to the field of STEM. Through outreach initiatives to various Edgecombe County Schools, the Tar Robo Turtles strive to provide every student with the opportunity to engage in robotics. Edgecombe Early College High School (EECHS), where the team is based, is a comprehensive five-year public high school situated on the campus of Edgecombe Community College. As part of Edgecombe County Public Schools, EECHS functions as a high school of choice, enrolling a cohort of approximately 40 ninth graders annually. With a commitment to enhancing college attendance rates in the community, EECHS exposes students to a rigorous curriculum, including Honors and dual-enrollment community college courses, particularly benefiting first-generation college students. The school's motto, "Be yourself; leave completely changed!" aligns with their mission to create powerful educational experiences, promoting academic excellence, personal growth, and global citizenship, all while nurturing a lifelong passion for learning within the EECHS family.
